The autumn round (round 6) is now underway and will run until Wednesday

This is how it works:
- It is a mixed (men
and women) singles league
- It’s divided
into groups of about 6 players of a similar standard
- Everyone in their group
plays everyone else on the courts at either Kennington Park or Brockwell Park unless another venue suits both parties
- Matches are the best
of three tie break sets (allow 2 hours per match)
- It’s up to everyone
to arrange their own matches
- You get one point for
every set you win
- At the end of the round,
where possible, two players go up, two go down and two stay put. For those who want to, it then starts again with a new round.
- You get a free can
of balls and two bonus points if you complete three matches by the half way point
- It costs £10 to join
each round (this does not include the cost of the courts)

FREE Tennis balls when you play three
matches by the half way mark!
To encourage players to play their matches, everyone who plays three matches or more by the half way stage
of each round receives a free tube of tennis balls!

Tennis news
We now run
leagues in several public parks in London and elsewhere. Tennis players of all standards over the age of 18
are warmly invited to join any of the following:
LONDON
Clapham Common
Greenwich
Haringey
Highbury Fields, Islington
Kennington & Brockwell Park
Wimbledon Park
Westway
HOVE, SUSSEX
Kingsway
EDINBURGH
Meadows
They are all mixed (men and women) singles leagues with mixed doubles
also offered at Wimbledon Park and Highbury Fields.

The League and LTA Ratings
In theory we would like this to be an LTA rated league - and for those who have ratings already we will submit qualifying
results. However, the membership review at the LTA makes getting a new rating now a complicated business. If you are interested,
keep an eye on the LTA's website ( http://www.lta.org.uk/)
